Specific sources
Insight is designed to read configured feeds and APIs, including transport updates and service notices. It is not a general-purpose crawler that follows links across the web.
Considerate requests
Sources must be reviewed before collection begins. Our policy requires source-specific permissions and request limits, respect for retry instructions, and conditional requests where supported.
Better real-time services
We collect data from you through your existing APIs or open datasets. We use this data to deliver better real-time services to our users in Meil.
Providers will see normal connection metadata, including our source IP and any service credentials required by their API. Public availability does not override a source's licence or access restrictions.
